How Jessica Moore built Luna
Jessica Moore opened Luna Hair Studio in 2018, after years behind the chair. She had watched clients leave with a cut they loved and no idea how to recreate it at home, and she wanted to build a salon that fixed that.
The salon sits on South Congress, next to the vintage shop, under a crescent moon sign. Women and men come in for a cut, a balayage or a smoothing treatment.
What has not changed since the first year is the habit of writing the price down before the work begins. You should know what you are paying, and why.
