South Congress since 2018
How Jessica Moore built Luna
Jessica Moore spent a decade behind the chair before opening Luna on South Congress in 2018. The idea was simple: clients should walk out knowing how to style their own hair at home, not just how it looked under the salon lights.

Balayage, cuts and keratin on South Congress

01
Women’s cut and style
A wash, a cut shaped to your hair and a blow-dry finish. A cut built around your morning routine is easier to repeat at home than one that only holds under salon lights.
$75 · 1 hr

02
Men’s cut
Cut, fade and a hot towel finish. Bring a photo of the shape you want and say how you wear it on a normal week; the stylist works from there.
$40 · 45 min

03
Balayage
Hand-painted color, worked strand by strand, with toner and a style to finish. Hand painting takes longer than color applied end to end, and the toner revives the shade rather than lightening it.
$220 · 3 hr

04
All-over color
Color from root to ends with a gloss for shine. What you pay depends on your length, your thickness and how much work the starting color needs, not only on the technique.
$120 · 2 hr

05
Keratin treatment
A smoothing treatment that lasts about three months. A treatment like this suits some hair better than others, so it is worth asking about yours before you commit.
$280 · 2 hr 30 min
Why Luna
A salon that listens before it cuts
Three habits we keep for every client who sits in our chair.
Price before we start
You see your rate in writing before the scissors come out. Rates follow the stylist level: new talent, senior or master.
Evenings after work
Weekday evenings are on the booking page, so a color appointment does not have to eat into your day off.
Consultation, then color
A color change starts with a conversation about the shade you want and what your hair has already been through.
